1. Overview
FebNMS (listed on Google Play as “FebNMS for LibreNMS” and previously named FEB LibreNMS) is an independently developed, third-party client for LibreNMS on Android, iOS, iPadOS, macOS, Windows and Linux, provided by FEB PTE. LTD. (“FEB”, “we”). It is not an official LibreNMS product. This policy explains what the app, the FebNMS account service at nms.feb.sg and this website process, and why.
2. Your FebNMS account
Using the app requires a free FebNMS account. We process:
- Your email address, used to sign you in, send one-time sign-in codes and contact you about your account.
- An optional password, stored only as a salted hash.
- The devices signed in to your account: an installation identifier, the device name and model, operating system and app version, and when the device was last seen, so you can review and sign out devices.
- The IP address of sign-in code requests, used briefly for rate limiting and abuse prevention.
3. Data synced to your account
So that your setup follows you between devices, the account service stores the LibreNMS servers you add (name, address and API token), your dashboard layouts and your app preferences. API tokens are encrypted on our server and are only returned to devices signed in to your account. All traffic uses HTTPS.
4. Monitoring data
Device lists, metrics, graphs, alerts, logs and service results are requested directly by the app from your own LibreNMS server and are not stored by FEB. Data held on your LibreNMS server is controlled by that server’s administrator.
5. Push notifications
If you turn on real-time push, your LibreNMS server sends alert events to the FebNMS service, which keeps the alert state needed to avoid duplicate notifications (alert and rule identifiers, state and times) and delivers a notification containing the alert title and server name to your devices. Notifications are delivered through Apple Push Notification service, Google Firebase Cloud Messaging or Microsoft Windows Push Notification Services, and we store each device’s push token for this purpose.
6. AI rule assistant
The alert-rule assistant is optional. When you use it, the text you type and the rule’s conditions are sent through the FebNMS service to a third-party AI model provider to draft a rule for you to review. It is not used for advertising. If you report an answer, the answer, the conversation before it and your comment are stored so our team can review the report.
7. Service providers
We use service providers only to run the service: hosting, email delivery of sign-in codes, push delivery (Apple, Google Firebase, Microsoft) and the AI model provider for the optional assistant. They process data on our behalf and not for their own purposes.
8. Analytics, advertising and sales
The app contains no advertising SDKs, no third-party analytics SDKs and no cross-app tracking. FEB does not sell personal information.
9. On-device storage
Session credentials and API tokens on your device are kept in the platform’s secure storage (Android Keystore, Apple Keychain, Windows credential protection or Linux Secret Service). Cached data on the device is removed when you sign out or uninstall the app.
10. Retention and deletion
Your account data is kept until you delete your account. You can delete it at any time in the app under Settings → Account → Delete account, or by following the steps on our account deletion page. Deleting your account removes your account, synced servers and API tokens, dashboards, preferences, registered devices, push subscriptions and AI reports. Expired sign-in codes are removed within a day and email delivery logs within 90 days.
11. This website
This website uses no analytics or advertising cookies; a single cookie remembers the language you chose. Some language versions are translated by AI: page text is sent to an AI provider to produce the translation, which is then cached, and no visitor information is included. Packages downloaded from this website are delivered through Cloudflare and object storage.
12. Children
FebNMS is a professional network-monitoring tool intended for adults and is not directed to children.
